We studied the nitric oxide availability in blood in healthy and hypertensive female rats under deficient of estrogens under rest and stress conditions. We found that the basal and stress NO levels were lower in hypertensive vs. healthy female rats.

In article are considered changes of some physical and chemical parameters of blood white female rats on at toxic influence by ions of cadmium and during the various periods of adaptation.

Problems of bird propagation dynamics in the northern Lower-Volga region under the influence of natural environmental factors and in the course of evolutionally-caused historical processes are discussed. Main trends in climate variations within the last millennia are considered.

The article is addressed to changes in the activity of essential enzymes of nitrogen metabolism in the offspring exposed to toxic influence in the neonatal period. Possible mechanisms of these changes are discussed.

The ability of strain Dietzia maris AM3, isolated from oil-silme, for active utilization of petroleum hydrocarbons was shown. Plasmids (size, near 54 kb) were found in this strain, capable of degrading petroleum hydrocarbons by 50–70% both in acid and in neutral media.

Description of a modern state of flora and vegetation of the Volgograd reservoir in administrative boundaries of the Saratov region was suggested in the article. Modern composition of reservoir flora was revealed. Overgrowing features of different parts of the reservoir were investigated.

 Microbial ecological systems of Dolycoris baccarum L. and Carpocoris fuscispinus Boh. digestive tract in territory of the Saratov region was studied. 20 bacteria species belonging to 13 genera was revealed. Erwinia rhapontici causing diseases at plants was among them.

From a position of S.S. Khokhlov’s conception (1946) in the light of the modern data on embryology and genetics of apomixis the perspectives of plant evolution is discussed. On the example of Poaceae it is demonstrated, that apomixis is the mechanism, which helps the modern plants to achieve the reproductive success.
