Volgograd Reservoir Banks Flora and Vegetation Modern State in Saratov Region Administrative Boundaries

Description of a modern state of flora and vegetation of the Volgograd reservoir in administrative boundaries of the Saratov region was suggested in the article. Modern composition of reservoir flora was revealed. Overgrowing features of different parts of the reservoir were investigated.

The Role of Some Herbivorous Bugs Species in Microorganisms Circulation in Nature

Microbial ecological systems of Dolycoris baccarum L. and Carpocoris fuscispinus Boh. digestive tract in territory of the Saratov region was studied. 20 bacteria species belonging to 13 genera was revealed. Erwinia rhapontici causing diseases at plants was among them.

Apomixis and Plant Evolution

From a position of S.S. Khokhlov’s conception (1946) in the light of the modern data on embryology and genetics of apomixis the perspectives of plant evolution is discussed. On the example of Poaceae it is demonstrated, that apomixis is the mechanism, which helps the modern plants to achieve the reproductive success.

Morphogenesis of Feature of Realization Production of Process at Spring Wheat

On group of genotipes T.aestivum and T.durum studied features of development of shoot apex and primordium leaves of embryo shoot of a germ seed wheat. On genotipes T.aestivum investigated laws of growth and development of shoot apex, leaves, influence defoliation on morphogenes of the main shoot, realization of elements of production at change the source-sink of the relationships.

Agamic Complex Evolution in Flowering Plants

Possible pathways of the agamic complex evolution in flowering plants are under consideration. Arguments are addused that gametophytic apomixis as the mode of reproduction in flowering plants existed in all the times of their evolution and that agamic complex transformated in sexual polyploid complexes.

Characterization of the Fatty-Acid Composition of Lipids A from Azospirillum Lipopolysaccharides

On the basis of the results from analyses of lipopolysaccharides of eight Azospirillum strains, we showed that the major fatty-acid contents in these lipopolysaccharides were those of 3-hydroxytetradecanoic, hexadecanoic 3-hydroxyhexadecanoic, and octadecenoic acids. This finding confirms that these microorganisms are correctly assigned to the α-subclass of Proteobacreria. An exception was the fatty-acid profile of the lipopolysaccharide from A.

Features of Nesting Birds of Riverside’s Precipices and Slopes of Ravines of Privolchskie Venzi

There are 17 nestbird species at the Volga River riverside’s precipices and slopes of right-bank ravines in the south of Saratov district in 1996–2007 were found. Spatial location of the species along the riversides is determined by sedimentary layers interchange: sands of senoman, chalks of thuron, flasks and marls of santon, flasks of palaeogene, clays of neogene.

Mesorelief Influence on Dynamics of Bird Population in Recreation Forest

Basic regularities of abundance changing in different local relief formations in recreation forest are discovered. Main factors stipulated similarities and differences of bird population dynamics in plateau and gully-ravine habitats were studied on the ground of all-the-year-round absolut bird census.

Formation of Funds and Creation of the Database of the Herbarium of the Saratov State University (SARAT, SARP)

The information on a history of creation of the Herbarium of SSU is given. The structure of funds of the Herbarium (the basic departments, nominal collections) is considered. The modern condition of the Herbarium is reflected. On the basis of a database of the Herbarium the quantitative information on one of the largest families of the Bottom Volga region – Сyperaceae is given.

Sex Differences in Cardiovascular Sensitivity to Stress and Modulation of Adrenergic Activity in Normotensive and Hypertensive Rats

We studied the gender particularities in renal hypertension development and the dynamics of cardiovascular effects of immobilization stress in normotensive and hypertensive male and female rats. Also, we investigated the cardiovascular sensitivity to adrenaline and propranolol in normotensive and hypertensive males and females. We revealed the stronger sympathetic control of cardiovascular activity in females vs. males that may be partly responsible for the greater cardiovascular stress resistance in females compared with males.
