Effect of salinity on the morphogenesis of seedlings of introgressive lines of spring bread wheat with genetic material Aegilops columnaris

The introduction of the genetic material of wild-growing species into the genome of cultivated plants can signifi cantly expand the diversity of breeding material. For the eff ective use of introgressive plants, it is necessary to study their economically valuable traits and adaptive capabilities. The objective of the work is to study the eff ect of two types of salinity on the morphogenesis of seedlings of introgressive lines of spring bread wheat containing the genetic material of Aegilops columnaris Zhuk.

AEGILOPS COLUMNARIS

The effect of heterocyclic compounds of isoxazolone series on the growth and development of wheat seedlings (Triticum aestivum L.)

Arylidenisoxazolones have been known since the second half of the 20th century and still retain their relevance as biologically active compounds and the basis for further transformations.

Effect of Exopolysaccharides of the Bacterium Paenibacillus Polymyxa 1465 on Growth and Defense Responses of Wheat

Rhizobacteria of the genus Paenibacillus promote plant growth and induced systemic resistance to diverse environmental stresses. Here we present the results for the effect of exopolysaccharides (EPS) obtained from growth of Paenibacillus polymyxa 1465 with different carbon sources on the early stages in the development of wheat (Triticum aestivum L. cv. Saratovskaya 29) and on the peroxidase activity in wheat seedling tissue.

Some Features of Growth of Etiolated Plants in the Aspect of Implementation of Donor-Acceptor Relations

The object of the study was sprouts of spring soft wheat Triticum aestivum L. Cultivation was carried out in a climatic chamber at a temperature of 18 ± 1° C. As a control, plants grown during the photoperiod day / night 16/8 were used. Some features of the growth and development of Triticum aestivum L. plants were revealed under etiolation conditions. It was established that differences in the length of the root system of etiolated and control seedlings are determined by the length of the roots of the upper tier.
