List of herbarium papers of black-fruited sedge Carex melanostachya Bieb. ex Willd. stored in Herbarium of Saratov State University had been made in number of 132 specimens from Russia (Astrachan, Volgograd, Orenburg, Saratov regions and Kalmuck), also Kazakhstan with the framework of preparation for project 'Flora of Rossia'.

Description of seven main associations of oak forests in Chvalynsk national park of Saratov region had been made depending on soil and position on the relief. The state of viability had been estimated. Species composition of herbaceous and shrubs strata had been discovered.

We studied the nitric oxide availability in blood in healthy and hypertensive female rats under deficient of estrogens under rest and stress conditions. We found that the basal and stress NO levels were lower in hypertensive vs. healthy female rats.

In article are considered changes of some physical and chemical parameters of blood white female rats on at toxic influence by ions of cadmium and during the various periods of adaptation.

The interaction of cationic halcogenpyrilocyanic dyes, 2,6-diphenil-4-(4-dimethylaminostyryl)pyrylium and -thapyrylium chlorides, with inorganic ions in aqueous solutions was studied. The spectrophotometric characteristics and stability constants of the resulting ion pairs were determined.

The work was aimed at establishing new correlations between some known energetic characteristics of several materials and their performance.

A melange gel technology of obtaining xerogels of silic acid modified with organic reactants has been designed. The technology is based on the extraction of micellar phase of non-ionic surfactants with organic reactants and its deposition on the surface of xerogels.
