Methods for calculating specifi c electrical conductivity of the LiF+NaF mixtures melt

The calculation of the specifi c electrical conductivity of lithium and sodium fl uorides mixtures melts is presented. The Iinterest in the LiF–NaF system melts is determined by their practical signifi cance. Melts of LiF+NaF mixtures are used in heat-storing compositions and in metallurgy. They are part of various multicomponent systems.

Phase Equilibria in the Twocomponent System n-nonadecan – Cyclododecane

Method of low-temperature differential thermal analysis using a differential scanning calorimeter of heat flow was first studied system n-nonadecane – cyclododecane. The studied systems are of the eutectic type. Alloy of eutectic composition contains 37,0 wt % of cyclododecane and melts at a temperature of 20.4 °C.

Computer Model of Phase Complex of Ternary System LiCl–Li2MoO4–Li2WO4

The solution of theoretical and practical problems based on phase equilibria in multicomponent systems is the basis of materials science: the synthesis of metals, alloys, semiconductors and many other substances and mixtures. The first stage in the study of phase diagrams is their calculation by various methods. However, the current state of the theory does not allow us to calculate the phase diagrams accurately and correctly even for binary systems.

Density Calculation for Mixture Melts of LiF + NaF

Salt mixtures are used as molten electrolytes of chemical current sources, solvent melts of inorganic substances, heat storing compositions, fluxes for welding and soldering. Modern coolants include alkali metals and their halogenides. Lithium-containing thermofors have a special place. Density is one of the important properties of the melts used. The paper presents the analytical description of the density for the mixture melts of LiF + NaF of various compositions in the temperature range of 1130 ... 1320° K.
