Dynamics of the Number and Current State of Population Red-footed Falcon (Falco Vespertinus Linnaeus, 1766) in the North of the Lower Volga Region

The abundance dynamics of Falco vespertinus is considered on the basis of our field surveys carried out within the Saratov region and adjacent territories in 2011–2016 and analysis of the literature data. It is shown that F. vespertinus is now presented by stable populations in the spacious territory of the Trans-Volga part of the region. However, some reduction of its abundance was registered here for the last several decades of the 20th century. Currently, the falcon populations in the Volga right-bank region can be characterized as mosaic, and the F.

Anatomical Structure of Seed which Belong to Iris L. Species of Saratov Flora

In the Saratov region all species of Iris are listed in the regional Red Book, with this connection, to preserve these plants, it is necessary to introduce them in an extensive researches, protection and establishing them in the literature. special interest is the study of seeds due to the direct relation with the potential possibility of generative propagation of Iris species, the article presents the results of an anatomical study of the seeds of seven species which belong to Iris L. in Saratov region flora.

Ecological Problems of the Saratov Region in Year Environment and the Year of Specially Protected of Natural Territories

The ecological problems of the Saratov region in the Year of Ecology and Protected Areas are discussed: the degradation and destruction of natural complexes, the reduction of species biological diversity and its causes, the need to expand the network of regional SPNA, reduce atmospheric pollution, hydrosphere and lithosphere (limiting emissions of harmful substances and reagents, non-waste technologies, introduction of alternative energy, modern technologies for waste processing and wastewater treatment), soil fertility conditions, growth new technogenic pollutants (ele

Gamaside Mites of the Small Mammals Habitant in the Krasnoarmeisky Locality of the Saratov Region

Gamaside mites have ancient, strong links to a number of pathogens of natural-focal diseases. They constitute a considerable part of ectoparasites living on small mammals. Ac- cording to literature data and own research results, the fauna of Gamaside mites in the Saratov Region includes 44 species. Objec- tive of the study was to investigate the current state of Gamaside mite fauna ecologically associated with rodents in the territory of the Krasnoarmeisk District of the Saratov Region. The research was conducted in September-October, 2010 and in August, 2012.

Mosquitos (Diptera; Culicidae) of the Saratov Region

Described is the fauna of bloodsucking mosquitoes found in the Saratov Region. The article is based on the data collected dur- ing the field surveys in the flooded biotopes along the Volga and Don river basins and Kamysh-Samara enclosed lake basin, as well as on the literature data available. By 1970s, 31 species of mosquitoes have been spotted in the Region. The paper presents qualitative and quantitative changes over the 45-year period in the populations of bloodsucking mosquito, habitant in the flooded areas of different rivers.

Particular Qualities of Flora and Vegetation Study of the Nature Monument «Blue Mountain» (Saratov Region, Ozinsky District)

The characteristics of the flora and steppe communities of the nature monument of regional importance of the Saratov region «Blue Mountain » is given. The flora of the territory has preserved features of the forest, which is manifested in the head of the family spectrum of the corresponding floristic sample. At the same time as a result of the fires that occurred, the type of forest changed: the oak tree was replaced by aspen. A high position in the family spectrum of Rosaceae is noted, which is not typical for the subzone of turf-grass steppes.

Informational and Technical Support of Needing Protection Saratov Region Plant Communities Inventory

Inventory needing protection plant communities is one of the directions of modern phytocenosical and ecologocal research. The Экология 365 information-technology support play the important role. This article provides information about the structure of electronic database “Needing protection plant communities of the Saratov region”.

Dynamics of the demographic structure and variability of some morphological parameters of Calophaca wolgarica (Fabaceae) during reintroduction to the Saratov region

Preliminary results of studies on the reintroduction of Calophaca wolgarica to the territory of the Saratov region are presented. In the period from 2018 to 2020, the age structure of artificial plantings and changes in the morphological parameters of individuals within them were studied. It is shown that on the territory of the Saratov region, artificial plantings of this species are best located near the protected area “Tulip Steppe near the village of Maksyutovo”.

Morphological variability and state of Delphinium pubiflorum (Ranunculaceae) populations in the Saratov region

The article presents the results of studying the morphological state of three populations of Delphinium pubiflorum on the basis of quantitative traits measured over four years during the period of mass flowering of plants. The greatest difference in quantitative characteristics was shown by the populations from the Krasnoarmeisky and Tatishchevsky districts of the Saratov region.

Biological Properties of Bacteria-assiociants (Myzus cerasi F., 1775) (Insecta: Homoptera, Aphididae)Biological Properties of Bacteria-assiociants (Myzus cerasi F., 1775) (Insecta: Homoptera, Aphididae)

The biological properties of bacteria-assiociants Myzus cerasi F. in territory of the Saratov region weree studied. 39 strains of bacteria were revealed. 66.6% of the strains were able to use glucose, 87.0% – fixed molecular nitrogen, 56.3% – had the ability to grow at 10 °C, 92.1% of the isolated cultures were alkalotolerant and grown at pH10.
