Screen-printed Potentiometric Sensors for Cefuroxime Axetil Determination in Small Sample Volumes

Potentiometric screen-printed cefuroxime axetil sensors were developed. The optimum membraneand carbon ink compositions were determined. The main sensor electroanalytical and operational characteristics were evaluated. The sensors were used to determination of cefuroxime axetil in small sample volumes of model water solutions and mixed saliva (oral fluid). Upgrading sensor designs opens up new sensor application for pharmaceutical kinetic antibiotic studies on the mixed saliva analysis and correction treatment of various pathological processes.

Improvement of Potentiometric Determination of Ammonium Ions in Surface Waters for the Samples with a High Concentration

The problem of choosing a technique for determining ammonium ions, in concentrations above 1 gm/cdm, in surface waters, as in complex matrix, is one of the important problems of monitoring the condition of water bodies contaminated with ammonium salts. The solution to this problem will allow us to reliably assess the ecological condition of water bodies and the degree of reduction of environmental load during pollution elimination measures.

The prospect of using Shewhart control charts in assessing the quality of ionometric measurements by the method of adding a sample to a standar

Modern methods of quantitative physical and chemical measurements should necessarily include procedures for quality control of research results. Recently, the procedure for quality control of measurements using control charts is gaining particular popularity in the practice of analytical measurements. To date, the methods of potentiometric studies operating in the territory of the Russian Federation, in most cases, do not include quality control using this control procedure.
