Гербарий СГУ (SARAT)

The article presents the results of processing funds stored in the herbarium of the Saratov State University (SARAT), belonging to the Iridaceae family. The Herbarium of SSU (SARAT) was founded in 1909; at present, signifi cant material has been accumulated, which has not yet been fully processed. The Iridaceae family contains a number of species that are subject to protection, including at the federal level. It is quite large (more than 60 genera and 800 species distributed throughout the globe).

В работе приводятся результаты обработки гербарных образцов видов семейства Gentianaceae, занесенных в Красную книгу Саратовской области (2006) и хранящихся в Гербарии СГУ (SARAT).

The role of such heads of Department as A. A. Gordyagin, A. M. Levshin, D. E. Yanishevsky, A. D. Fursaev, N. P. Avdulov, A. A. Chiguryaeva, T. P. Ryabova, A. O. Tarasov, V. A. Boldyrev in the development of the Department and scientific research is highlighted. The role of the Department’s employees in the formation of the herbarium of SSU is observed.
