Sex Differences in Cardiovascular Sensitivity to Stress and Modulation of Adrenergic Activity in Normotensive and Hypertensive Rats

We studied the gender particularities in renal hypertension development and the dynamics of cardiovascular effects of immobilization stress in normotensive and hypertensive male and female rats. Also, we investigated the cardiovascular sensitivity to adrenaline and propranolol in normotensive and hypertensive males and females. We revealed the stronger sympathetic control of cardiovascular activity in females vs. males that may be partly responsible for the greater cardiovascular stress resistance in females compared with males. 

Оценка возможностей регуляторных систем различных групп студентов с использованием показателя адаптационного состояния

Аннотация. Цель исследования – произвести оценку адаптационного состояния различных групп студентов, отражающего возможности регуляторных систем организма, с применением нового комплексного показателя, опирающегося на параметры вариабельности сердечного ритма. Решаются задачи обоснования, разработки и апробации комплексного показателя, как дополняющего метода в оценке адаптационного состояния организма.

ПСИХОФИЗИОЛОГИЧЕСКАЯ РЕАКТИВНОСТЬ НА ЭКЗАМЕНАЦИОННЫЙ СТРЕСС СТУДЕНТОВ-СПОРТСМЕНОВ ПЕДАГОГИЧЕСКОГО ВУЗА

Изучены психоэмоциональный статус и функциональное состояние
студентов-спортсменов при экзаменационном стрессе. Установ-
лено, что основой психоэмоционального напряжения спортсменов
является личностная тревожность. Выявлена четкая зависимость
между уровнем личностной тревожности студентов-спортсменов и
характером их реактивности на экзаменационный стресс.

The article is dedicated to the blessed memory of Tatyana Grigorievna Anishchenko, Doctor of Biological Sciences, professor, who used to hold the position of head of the Department of Human and Animal Physiology of the Biological Faculty of the Saratov State University from 1995 to 2015. This is a look back at the memories of some of her students and a message for new generations about great prospects in obtaining a golden ticket to life and the wonderful world of science.
