On the importance of chemosystematic correlation in the study of the allelopathic potential of congeneric native and exotic species of herbs

This abstract presents the results of screening for allelopathic activity of three pairs “aboriginal-exotic” of comparison species of herbs, including invasive species, systematically related at the level of the genus. It was shown that a 1% leaf extract of Solidago virgaurea and S. canadensis, Pulmonaria obscura and P. saccharata, Veronica serpyllifolia and V. fi liformis had a similar or equal inhibitory eff ect on the germination and growth of test-plant roots in biotests owing to its chemosystematic correlation.

О значении хемотаксономической корреляции при изучении аллелопатического потенциала аборигенных и чужеродных видов трав

В статье представлены результаты скрининга на аллелопатическую активность трех пар «абориген-интродуцент», из систематически близких на уровне рода, видов трав, в том числе инвазивных. Показано, что экстракты листьев концентрацией 1% Solidago virgaurea и S. canadensis, Pulmonaria obscura и P. saccharata, Veronica serpyllifolia и V. filiformis в связи с хемосистематической корреляцией фитосостава оказали близкое или равновеликое ингибирующее воздействие на прорастание семян и рост корней тест-культуры в биотестах. Экстракты видов Solidago sp. и Pulmonaria sp.

About the Biology of the Invasive Species Hordeum jubatum L. in Bashkir Trans-Urals

The results of researches of 7 coenopopulations of North American invasivespeciesHordeumjubatumL.(Poaceae)inthe Trans-Urals of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Hordeum jubatum spreads on the steppe zone of the region. It dominates over other plants and it is share of participation in the community is 45,5–60,5%. The density of grass invasive species – 9–18 plants per 1 m2.Each plant produces 35 to 68 shoots, on average, is more than 600 shoots per 1 m2. The biomass of the type is no more than 0.25 kg/m2. Seed production is 39–54 pcs.
