The article presents the results of lichens’ research of the National Park «Khvalynsky» in 2011–2013 and data processing of herbarium collection SARAT and other researchers. The annotated list is pre- sented. It includes 65 species. Among them one specie (Cladonia acuminata) is new for the Saratov Region, two species (Cladonia decorticata, Cl. botrytes) are new for the Privolzhskaya Upland.

The list of rare and disappearing fungus and lichens species to be included into the third edition of the Red Book of Saratov region has been compiled on the basis of modern field surveys, collection data, analysis of literature. It contains 19 representatives of mycoflora belonging to 11 families and 6 representatives of lichen flora belonging to 3 families. The necessity to extend and modify the list of protected taxa is substantiated compared with the previous edition.

The article provides information about the epiphytic lichen flora of the Natural Park “Kumysnaya Polyana” (NP), which is located in Saratov. It is a regional SPNA (Special Protected Natural Area). The researches were conducted in forest communities of NP in 2011–2016. Standard techniques were used in the collection and identification of lichens. An index of species specificity of lichens for forophytes was calculated. An annotated list consists of 37 species and includes the information about their preferential forophytes.
