Anthophilous beetles (Insecta: Coleoptera) of dandelion cenopopulations (Taraxacum offi cinale) during its “spring” fl owering period in the Yaroslavl Region

The beetle community (Coleoptera) on the fl owers of the dandelion Taraxacum offi cinale (Yaroslavl Region, Borok vill.) during its “spring” fl owering (05/17/2022 – 06/14/2022) is represented by 28 species from 13 families. The community has a pronounced anthophilic aspect and includes mainly pollinophages and nectarophages (Elateridae, Nitidulidae, Byturidae, Phalacridae, and Oedemeridae). Two species of beetles, Olibrusbicolor and Glocianus punctiger, develop on the dandelion.

Mycetophilic beetles (Insecta: Coleoptera) associated with xylotrophic fungi in residential areas of Saratov city

The purpose of this work was to establish the composition of the community of beetles associated with xylotrophic fungi on the territory of the Saratov city landscapes which diff ers from the natural forest regional ecosystems. Collections of coleoptera (imagos and larvae) were carried out in the spring-summer period 2017–2020 from fruiting bodies of various xylotrophic basidiomycetes from deciduous tree species of the city areas in the Volzhsky, Kirovsky, Frunzensky, Oktyabrsky and Zavodsky districts of the town.

Neocrambus wolfschlaegeri (Schawerda, 1937) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae, Crambinae) new to Russia

Crambid moth Neocrambus wolfschlaegeri (Schawerda, 1937) is reported from the Volga-Ural Region (Orenburg and Saratov Provinces). This represents the fi rst record of this species from Russia. The external morphology and genitalia are illustrated and some details of the morphology are discussed.

The Results of the Inventory of the Lepidoptera Fauna (Insecta: Lepidoptera) of the Volga-Ural Region

Presents the distribution of 3489 species of Lepidoptera from 83 families on the basic administrative units of the region. To the base list of E. Eversmann added 2209 species, 35 species were removed from the list as incorrectly identified previously, reliably disappeared in the region or accidentally introduced. Among the newly discovered species 2 were new for Europe and 3 for Russia.

New Data on the Caddisfly Fauna of Mordovia (Insecta: Trichoptera)

Collecting efforts on the rivers Sura and Moksha in the autono- mous Republic of Mordovia (Russia) have resulted in the detec- tion of 14 species of caddisflies, which are recorded from the Republic for the first time. To date, a total of 39 species are listed for the Republic, which is only a small fragment of the residential fauna. It is expected, that more than 200 species of caddisflies occur in the region.

The Use of Malaise Trap for the Study of the Beetles Fauna (Insecta: Coleoptera) in the Territory of National Park «Khvalynsky» Saratov Province

In the article results of use of Malaise trap for the study of the beetles local fauna (Insecta: Coleoptera) in the territory of National Park «Khvalynsky» is given. Compiled a list of 95 species from 32 families Coleoptera. Antherophagus pallens (Linnaeus, 1758) and Saperda octopunctata (Scopoli, 1772) are recorded for Saratov region in first time.

The Preliminary Data about Spring Beetles Fauna (Insecta: Coleoptera) of the Natural Monument «Rasskazan’ Lake» (Saratov Province)

In the article the results of short-term investigations of water-land biotopes of the natural monument «Rasskazan’ Lake» (Balashov district of the Saratov Province) is presents. Compiled a list of 67 species from 9 families Coleoptera.

New for a Fauna of the Lower Volga Species of Centipedes and Millipedes
