Detection of adulteration of fish caviar by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry

The use of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry for differentiation of natural and imitated caviar of various fish species: salmon, sturgeon, and particulate species has been proposed. Principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) have been used as tools for multivariate statistical analysis. The use of PCA and HCA have allowed effective visualisation of differences between caviar samples in terms of authenticity.

A Quantum Chemical and Chemometrics Study of the Process of Aromatic Amines Oxidation in Alkaline Medium

The process of the oxidation of DFA reagents in alkaline media was simulated by means of quantum-chemistry methods and chemometrics. Geometric and electronic characteristics of initial amines, intermediates and final products were calculated.

SPECTRO-CHEMOMETRICAL DETERMINATION OF DIFFERENT METALS IN COMPLEX MIXTURES

The application of independent component analysis algorithms for simultaneous determination of non-ferrous metals and metals of platinum group in their two- and three-component model mixtures was studied. The comparison between different chemometrical algorithms MILCA, SNICA, SIMPLISMA, RADICAL, JADE was made. The MILCA is the most effective algorithm for analysis of studied systems. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of artificial mixtures of systems of different metals was made.

Chemometric Method of PLS in the Treatment of Titrimetric Data when Opredeleniye of Arginine and Lysine in Mixed Solutions

Arginine and lysine are the most important ?-amino acids that are part of many proteins, which play an important role in the processes of nitrogen metabolism, growth and restoration of body tissues. It is used in medical nutrition in the postoperative recovery period, as well as as diagnostic factors. The simple express methods of separately determining the main ?-amino acids of arginine and lysine in their mixed solutions are in demand.
