осмотический стресс

The effect of osmotic stress on the growth and development of seedlings of introgressive lines of spring soft wheat

The study of the resistance of plants obtained as a result of introgressive breeding to various factors, including osmotic stress, is an important stage of breeding work. The objects of research are two varieties of spring soft wheat – Saratovskaya 70 and Saratovskaya 68 and three lines – L3 (C68/ThatcherLr28*4//C68), L4 (C68/ThatcherLr29*4//C68), L12 (C70/ThatcherLr29* 4//C70). PEG was used as a cultivation substrate. The eff ect of osmotic stress on growth was assessed by morphometric parameters, the seedling root availability index, and the seedling root index.

Light-dependent Bioelectric Activity of Wheat Seedlings

Was studied the peculiarities of tissue changes of bioelectric potentials of spring wheat seedlings in the early stages of ontogeny. Appreciated the contribution of the spectral composition of light and simulated drought conditions on the formation of action potentials in the tissues. It was found that the bioelectrical reaction of wheat seedlings to light exposure differs from etiolated plants and pre-lit. It shows more value to generate an action potential areas of blue and red region of the spectrum.
