Abstract: 

lt has been shown that the nature of organic solvent usually selected for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) extraction from the object can influence on its absorption, fluorescence, and phosphorescence intensity in micellar solutions of sodium dodecylsulphate. Among examined acetonitrile, ethanol, acetone, and hexane only two last solvents can be recommended for determination of by procedure based on miceller fluorimetry or room temperature phosphorimetry.
